On the occasion of International Literacy Day (8th September), UNTIL in India recognizes that literacy is a driver for sustainable and inclusive development, providing individuals with the skills to understand and shape the world, participate in development process and strengthen their identity. Given this understanding, UNTIL is planning to host an event focused on empowering the specially-abled with Innovations in Technology. This technology innovation event is aimed at enhancing the visibility of innovation and skill development for specially-abled, opportunities for the youth to engage with the UNTIL, and to support the UN to achieve the 2030 agenda of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  The event will be promoted through Interviews, Banners and Social Media Platforms. Invitations will be sent out to educational institutions, business sector, public, and civil society organizations including UN Organizations.
