Health Innovation Exchange: UNTIL Finland represented at the Experts Panel
Health Innovation Exchange: UNTIL Finland represented at the Experts Panel

With the recent global developments, we have seen that thinking outside the box has become the new normal in building an effective response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The world has seen, now more than ever, that we need to make sure that our response to all health challenges draws on the best of human ingenuity, creativity and innovation.

This year, UNTIL is partnering with UNAIDS on the Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx) Annual Event 2020, held as a fully virtual event 1-2 July. Dr. Ahmed El Saeed, UNTIL Finland’s Health Lead, will join other experts on one of the three pitch panels on 2 July 2020, 14:00-14:45 CET, to review some of the shortlisted innovative solutions aimed at meeting critical health challenges across the globe. Winning innovations will be announced at the HIEx 2020 Awards and high-level session immediately following this.

Through a combination of exciting live sessions, a virtual innovation marketplace, innovation pitching sessions and an awards ceremony to identify key leading innovations, the HIEx Annual Event 2020 has two main objectives: It aims to explore the need to further invest in innovations for health, as well as to facilitate engagement of countries, innovators and investors for the implementation of innovations to accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: good health and wellbeing.

We would like to invite you to join us for the #HIEx2020 event.
