Are you interested in new and proactive ways of policy-making and public service-provision? What happens when multidisciplinary student teams take on policy design challenges?
Join our colleagues from Aalto's School of Arts, Design and Architecture as students from their Design for Government course will showcase some inspiring examples! Highly-committed and talented student teams will present their research and proposals developed during the 14-week course addressing challenging project briefs commissioned from within the Finnish government. The exhibit will take place in the lobby of Helsinki's City Hall.
"The advances of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including those brought on by a combination of computing power, robotics, big data and artificial intelligence, are generating revolutions in health care, transport and manufacturing.
I am convinced that these new capacities can help us to lift millions of people out of poverty, achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and enable developing countries to leap‑frog into a better future."
