The UNTIL labs invent, incubate and accelerate technology-based products and services designed to propel the journey to review, build, adopt and implement tech solutions that address UN Mandates: Peace and Security, Human Rights and Sustainable Development through the SDGs. All solutions are based on partnership between the UN, Member State, as well as local and global private-public sector partners.

UNTIL Finland | Espoo

The Finnish government, along with other local stakeholders, have identified four core thematic areas of concentration for the technology projects supported by UNTIL Finland.

The Finnish UNTIL lab is just a 20min metro ride from the busy streets of Helsinki at A Grid, a startup hub and one of Europe's largest centers for growth companies. A Grid is part of the Aalto University campus and a gateway for the university's talent, cutting-edge research, and other international resources.   

UNTIL Malaysia | Cyberjaya

The Malaysian government with other local stakeholders, such as the Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC) have identified four core thematic areas of concentration for the tech projects supported by UNTIL Malaysia.

Sustainable Cities and Communities 

The UNTIL Malaysia lab is located in Cyberjaya, just 20 minutes from the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Cyberjaya is Malaysia's global tech hub, and home to over 2300 start-ups, SMEs and tech giants.

UNTIL Egypt | Cairo

The Egyptian government and other local stakeholders, such as the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), have identified key thematic areas where innovative technology solutions can become a key tool to achieving the sustainable development goals. UNTIL Egypt supports projects and tech-solutions that address:   

Quality Education - Special-needs students 

Good Health and Well-being - disease control, epidemic prevention, and therapeutic tourism 

Zero Hunger - Agriculture: animal production, poultry farming, aquaculture, water rationalization, and soil fertility

Responsible Consumption and Production - Circular Economy 

The lab in Cairo is hosted in TIEC, located in Smart Village, a high-technology business district that accommodates multinational and local companies, governmental, financial authorities and organizations as well as educational institutions and research & development centers. 

UNTIL India | Haryana

The Government of Haryana envisions the UNTIL Lab as a catalyst for collaboration between private industry, the UN, civil society, and academia to find globally acceptable solutions to achieve sustainable development goals. Haryana is already a significant center of technology development and the UNTIL office will complement this vibrant hub.

The UNTIL Lab is strategically located in the city of Gurugram, which is part of the National Capital Region of Delhi, the capital of India. It is at a few kilometres distance from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport and a hub for numerous Fortune 500 companies and SMEs.
